Tillinghast.  This demanding layout has hosted major championships including the PGA tour's Kansas City Open in the 1940s and more recently the 2005 USGA Women's Public Links.  In 2001 Shoal Creek Golf Course was established to bring more great golf to North Kansas City, it is a modern Championship design playing 6,983 yards from the back tees.  Both courses offer the most skilled players plenty of challenge while taking advantage of the beauty and diversity of our communities' landscape.

Hodge Park Golf Course in the Northland and Minor Park Golf Course in South KC each offer fun, affordable golf for players of any skill level.  Their layouts pose a challenge, but overall cater to recreational players. They offer a relaxing atmosphere, are easy to walk and fun to play.  Minor and Hodge are perfect for a quick 9 or 18 hole round with friends and family.

For learning to play the game and instructional opportunities Heart of America Golf Academy (HOA) is the go to spot in the 'heart' of Kansas City.  Formerly known as Blue River Golf Academy it offers 3 great options for play.  'The River' is a modern and undulating 9-hole course and 'The Rock' is a challenging and fun Par three 9-Hole Course,  Then there is the 'Watson course', a 4-hole short course perfect for juniors (ages 5 & older).  The clubhouse at HOA is home the The First Tee of Greater Kansas City, an organization that promotes the game to youth in urban areas throughout the country.
